Merge Videos Online
Put several clips on one timeline and export them as a single video.
Joining clips is a timeline job: add each file, drag them into the order you want, and export once. The result is one video, not a playlist.
Clips do not have to match. Different sizes and frame rates can sit on the same timeline — each is fitted into the project frame, which takes its shape from the first clip.
How to merge videos online
- 01
Add your clips
Drop in the first video, then add the others from the Media panel or by dropping them onto the page.
- 02
Put them in order
Drag a clip along the timeline. Dropped onto a neighbour it takes that slot and the track closes up around it.
- 03
Add transitions, optionally
Select a clip and choose a transition — dissolve, fade, wipe or slide — to smooth the join to the next one.
- 04
Export
Export once and download the joined video.
Getting the order right
Dragging a clip horizontally changes when it plays. Dropped in free space it stays where you put it and leaves a gap, which exports as black; dropped on another clip it swaps into that position and the track closes up. Snapping pulls edges flush so there are no one-frame slivers between clips.
Clips of different sizes
The project frame comes from the first clip, and everything else is fitted inside it. If you are joining a vertical phone clip to a landscape one, decide which shape the finished video should be, put a clip of that shape first, then crop the odd one out to match.
Frequently asked questions
Can I merge videos online without signing up?
Yes. Add the clips, arrange them on the timeline and export a single file. No account is required.
How many clips can I join?
There is no fixed limit in the editor. The practical ceiling is your device — long, high-resolution projects take longer to export and use more memory.
Can I add a transition between clips?
Yes. Nine transitions are available, including dissolve, fade to black and directional slides, each with a choice of length.
